TBT Anyday #1

Wow, it's been a month since I've last posted anything. Sorry guys! I've been off doing my own thing lately, (especially with the Miata and all). Now that winter is essentially in full force, I've got time to actually go through and work on the photos that I've been stock piling throughout the year.

So to kick it all off are some shots that I took back in mid September. I wanted to shoot somewhere different, so for the background we decided to cruise out east to the industrial part of town. Lucky for us, we found some vacant space in a nearby train yard.

Adrean's IS sits nice and flush. Simple and clean.

If you don't initially see his car, you'll definitely hear it first.

It's funny, not even five minutes into shooting Jalal's Skyline a truck full of CP Rail guys pulled up and got out. Initially, we thought they were going to ask us to leave and kick us out...

... Nope. They just got out, stared at the car, gave us the stink eye then went about their business. As awkward as it was, it was pretty damn funny.

(I spy...)

If you thought one wasn't enough, here's a second.

Nadine's ISF... nice and flush. Not aggressively low and just the right height.

Last but not least... Arashdeep's MR2. I'm sure some of you recognize this car from a few posts back.

(I've always wanted to do the sleepy eye mod to my Miata... Too funny.)

That pretty much wraps it up! By the time I was finished shooting, sunlight was quickly fading and the wind started to pick up. We decided to wrap it up early and headed home.

Despite the number of photos that I took I feel like I rushed the whole shoot, but hopefully you guys enjoyed the shots. Keep your eyes peeled for the next one!

Miata Is Always The Answer.

Before you know it, Summer is gone and Fall is here. Usually for me that means the shooting season is over and the cameras go away. I'm not going to lie, I wasn't expecting to shoot any pictures that day, but someone managed to coax me into shooting *cough*. Seeing that I rarely shoot during the Fall season, i decided to take advantage of it.

We found ourselves a small detour off the road and started snapping photos.

I always joke about the color being a variant of John Deere green, but I honestly love it.

It looks so damn happy. A real smiles per gallon car.

(1/1, Speed Hunters Edition...)

Ever since I got the opportunity to drive this Miata, I've craved to own one. Personally, I can't get over the fact of how small this car actually is. If you haven't driven one before, I highly recommend you do. Although it lacks power, it truly is fun to drive.

You know what they say... "It's better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow". Keep your eyes peeled.

GV8

For those of you who are up to date, know that back in early August I made a short trip down to Vancouver. Seeing how I really only had 2 days to enjoy Vancouver, I wanted to do as much shooting as I possibly could.

Fortunately for me I was given the opportunity to shoot Jay's STi. Like always, things never go as planned (that is... if there was a plan to begin with). So like the majority of how my shoots go, this one was last minute.

Since Jay was working late hours at the time, we made the decision to shoot later at night. By "later at night", we really meant 2:30 in the morning. But hey, there's a first for everything right?

Jay claimed his car was pretty dirty, but I think he managed to keep his car pretty damn clean..

(Why is there dirt? Oh right... Water ban)

This shot really shows off the curves of the front clip. Definitely one of my favorites from this set.

Again, the curves of this car...

Can't forget about the interior.

For a last minute shoot I'd say that this set turned out pretty well. Our original plan was to shoot at this location first, then quickly move onto another. As you can probably guess though, we never did go to a second location haha. A short cruise to location two turned into a scenic one around the city. Hopefully the next time I visit Vancouver, I can shoot this again along with another set of cars.

Anyways, if you guys want to see the complete set, go ahead and check out my Flickr. Keep your eyes peeled for the next post.

HIN, Vancouver

This past long weekend, me and a good friend of mine decided to drive down to Vancouver for a short 4 day trip. Of course, one of the things that was on our To-Do list was Hot Import Nights Vancouver. Although we weren't there for too long, I tried to take as many pictures as I could. Hope you guys enjoy the photos!

This is my first time seeing an RWB Porsche in person, so of course I had to fanboy and eye fuck the shit out of it. I never realized how wide it actually was until I walked up and saw it for myself.

Another car that I was excited to see was this S. I've been following this car for a while now, and ever since then I've been dying to this in person.

I've always been a fan of the Rocket Bunny kit for the S. Overplayed or not, I'll never get sick of this look.

Under the hood is an LS6, and if I remember correctly it also has ITBs.

I'm definitely liking the livery on this car! Hopefully I'll see it again the next time I visit Vancouver.

Now, get ready for some Hondas...

J32 swapped EG. One of favorites for sure.

I think I'm running out of things to say, so I'll let the pictures do the talking.

The Libertywalk booth.

How often do you get to see a skyline like this?

I think I overheard someone ask where the engine was when the "hood" was open..

MDA Fab booth.

That's right. It's a K swapped Miata.

Another K swap!

This thing is crazy.. I wish I hung around longer to see this thing fired up.

I never get sick of looking at S2000s..

I've been following Wiiizzer for a while now.. Love this and RedRum as well.

Haven't seen this Evo in a while either.

Rota everything.

Toyota Starlet! So old school.

That's pretty much it! I didn't stay too long, but I hope you guys enjoyed the pictures. Sorry about the huge ass watermarks. Feel free to save and crop as you like, just remember to give credit.

See you guys at HIN Calgary (possibly) and illmotion!
